Many homeowners make the mistake of collecting different designs and subsequently different bids from different construction companies. Falling into this trap is understandable as many contractors offer their rough designs for free. Typically “free” designs are not only difficult to understand, they often do not show proper elevation changes throughout the design. The designs are simply templated and not specific to your project and vision.
