A bit of our history…

2003

It began with a Chevy pickup truck and a couple of friends and has become a well-known landscape construction business. Jeff started Wichman Landscape in 2003 with two friends focusing primarily on residential lawn care and landscape maintenance for North Hills residents.

2005

In just two years Jeff began transitioning out of the lawn care business and into the natural stone and paving stone installation business.

2007

In 2007 the lawn care portion of the business was sold. The main focus of Wichman Landscape Construction became stone work, hardscape, and landscape design installations.

Today

Wichman has three crews in operation, two for Hardscape installations and one for site reclamation and he advises, “we have taken a new approach to the sales process, which is designed to make for a smooth and enjoyable process from the first call to the finished product.”

Jeff grew up in the North Hills and started working in masonry with his stepfather at a young age. Jeff tells the story, “when I was 12 I would mix mortar and help with the clean-up. As I got older I would help with the job layout and setting of brick or stone.”

Always having the entrepreneurial spirit, Jeff started cutting grass in his neighborhood at 15 and continued throughout high school. Upon graduating from college he opened Wichman Lawn Care and Landscape.

Now, Jeff states that Wichman Landscape Construction is enjoying steady growth while remaining consistent in providing excellent customer service to their clients as an elite Pittsburgh landscaping company. “We have an exceptional staff, our crews are refreshingly friendly and helpful, and our office staff is extremely knowledgeable on all of our products and services.”

Wichman Landscape Construction has a unique approach to the sales process that separates them from their competition. They believe in utilizing 3D imaging to help the client visualize their landscape design. They have experience with both commercial and residential landscape services, and specialize in paver and retaining wall installation.
